Bhogali Bihu, also known as Magh Bihu, is celebrated in January, marking the end of the harvesting season. It is a time of feasting and merriment. Bonfires, known as Mejis, are lit, and people gather around them to celebrate with traditional Assamese food, music, and dance.

The feasting during Bhogali Bihu is a highlight, with various traditional dishes made from freshly harvested crops. Community celebrations include games, music, and cultural performances.
